  2.  @davecross4493  there was a piece in the FT recently which showed the difference between Labour and the Tories in economic graphs its so stark even muppets on here would take back thier criticisms of Starmer, it shows the Blaire/ Brown era as the golden age of improving UK prosperity.   6. Its worse than that the way government spend on public sector salaries works means that it creates a money / tax merry go round in the economy so the real cost to the Treasury when the money wheel of taxation and spend stops is 20p in the pound.
