No he's not he's tying the uk energy market to fossil because he's visionless and lazy Over the current energy crisis the uk energy market will bleed 170 billion out of uk consumers in EXCESS profits. Why because we're tied to world commodity prices and don't have enough renewable in our energy mix + where the worst insulated country in Europe
2
@redbeard3923 partly I could run my house and not use the grid for 90% of the time if I had battery storage just waiting for the prices to come down before I buy and install 1

@T5Zplayer quote electric arc furnace (EAF) steel production installations planned and underway in Europe continues to grow. Most often citing decarbonization—the effort to reduce or eliminate a reliance on coal or other fossil fuels—the investments are joined by other projects where basic oxygen furnaces (BOFs) will continue to be used, but hydrogen or another fuel largely will replace coal

He's wrong that's why we're getting bled dry by the uk energy sector its been estimated that there taking in 170 billion of our money in EXCESS profits because We're tied to fossil fuel have the worst insulated homes in Europe and failed to promote renewables
1
No it isn't its a do nothing don't invest in Britain strategy The reason where getting bled dry with uk energy companies making eye watering excess profits estimated at 170 billion is our insulation standards are sh1t and we stopped our renewables program under Cameron. It's no different to the RAAC scandal
1
@rubensano4860 renewables are cheaper go look it up
1
no it wouldn't we went past Gas price parity with renewables in 2019 All there doing is putting off what needs to be done TODAY and punting it into the future same Tory inaction and in that future it will reduce productivity and kill UK competitiveness because it drains money out of the economy with every day of inaction @lonewanderer3456
