It's not in the same state as 2010 our economy 18% smaller and tax has risen by 33% with our currency devalued by 30% against the Euro and average people now -10% worse off and debt is + 2.4 trillion up from it's 2010 total of 800 billion with 5% interest rates

@fredmercury1314 They never said they wouldn't raise taxes. The Cons have raised them anyway The sort of money we need to cover the black hole left by the Cons is around 30 billion. We didn't collect 42 billion owed by HMRC last year, being outside the single market is costing hmrc 50 billion in lost tax, fuel subsidy in 2023 was 72 billion. We give over 10 billion in tax breaks to fossil companies, 20 billion on housing support, 5 billion because we don't process asylum claims in a timely manner. After 14 years the economy is a complete shambles
