@brutusbastados4801 could be because its not an island? Get a grip of reality we have a population of 67 million and a population growth rate of 1.6 loosing 1/2 million people per annum. Also 50/60,000 emigrate from the UK every year. Bottom line is we need immigrants for the economy vacancies are now up over 1.3 million
