  1. It's not even that the reason people on state pension will end up paying tax is because of Tory tax rises, as a Pensioner myself my tax bill has gone up by +£550 my water bill has gone up over inflation as has my energy bill food bill and council tax

  2. It's a Con it only applies to the state pension part and is only needed because they have frozen the 20% threshold and chose to waste the 20 billion on an NI cut instead of upping the Threshold.
