@jasielm5258 mine is a combination of wind the solar on my roof I live within 5 miles of large wind farm and 50 miles away is a huge offshore wind farm and my utility company is renewable focused Its easy enough to add a small turbine to the existing system at my home, every small installation will help. By the way I went this route on cost as well as having lived through 2 previous oil crisis and if everyone that could afford it like me did this it would help a lot. I'm lucky as to where I live but there are other solutions such as nuclear. Its only this last year that the tech and the battery technology has finally got to a mainstream stage

@jasielm5258 this time we have the tech to move away from fossil EV's where coming anyway and renewable is half the cost of fossil per kilowatt hour before the current crisis. Even texas has 20+% renewable energy with another +5% being added this year

The second hand car market iis suffering from lack of stock pushing up prices. A lot oof people ii know me included are hanging on tto our cars and waiting for EV's to come more into the market Rising gas prices will only Increase the numbers looking to hang fire on a new car

Carbon is a greenhouse gas it's like creating ann insulation layer round the planet it stops it shedding as much heat as it used to. The cost of dealing with the problem is accelerating Just look at the increased cost on federal disaster funds. I'd also add that renewable energy was half the cost of fossil the before the current crisis it's being adopted because of cost In California there currently running a pilot that will be rolled out this year on vehicle to grid , microgrid as well as mesh networking the utility saving will be substantial as it helps balance to domestic input to the grid from local solar anddd wind

@se6586 There's increased water vapour in the jet stream the temperature difference in the gulf is greater with increased rises in surface and overall temperature. Both these phenomenon's drive Storms to a more intense level on average producing higher winds and more rain. Also the Arctic polar Vortex is weakening which will lead to more frequent arctic cold snaps. California wildfires are increasing because of higher temperatures and less water on the land prolonging the fire season. There are a whole range of measures which need to happen to reverse this but your not interested so I won't bother. The Colorado river is continuing to dry up but hey here's a bucket of sand go stick your head in it
