@Ghst-tl9ec no its not your faced with 2 choices upgrade American infrastructure so it can modernise and compete on the world market or go into a permanent decline ceding the field to China

@Ghst-tl9ec a large part of the budget is going on broadband upgrade, grid and also R&D plus training / retraining. Fossil is already uneconomic without subsidies
