  1. No its not, people moving jobs and adopting flexible working because there's a huge shortage of IT staff is driving up demand, my mate just changed jobs got a 20% rise doesn't have to commute bar 4 times a year and has just been kitted out with new equipment.

  2.  @KP-by4eu  I work in IT as well as having loads of mates in the industry, during the pandemic and to this day business is booming, system and network upgrades software upgrades you name it. The company I work for aren't going back to a fixed office model but hybrid with hot desks reducing its office space requirement by half, the little amount of on site installs I used to do is now zero not that there was a need to go on site but some companies proffered it.
