  1.  @thewolfdoctor761  ending fossil subsidies wouldn't sky rocket prices due to the fact that most are connected to exploration there's going to be a steady movement beyond inflation on fossil prices due to all the easy access stuff burning out. The increases will happen with or without tax breaks as renewable projects squeeze the market on top of increasing extraction costs which kills all the small players off as the market tightens.

  2. I like Elon and his company but he has zero social skills and little to no understanding how the majority of people live. The US definitely needs rapid deployment of charging points it's let itself get behind in the ev revolution compared to Europe

GM definitely have a load of debt that subsidies would help with A lot of it is politics though the Chamber of Commerce have been lobbying against Democrats plans for moving to EVs in General a bit of pork gets Ford and GM pressuring other companies to cut out the negative shot there pumping onto the media airwaves
