@globalmuffin2 the latest are up to 40% but need to fall in price the standard cheapo ones they use are 17/18 as the tech gets better the price will drop the same goes for wind and other renewable schemes

@globalmuffin2 the reason for deploying on agriculture land is prob coz there allowed too and lecacy grid infrastructures are present. There's a load of converging technologies gonna hit at the same time, small array solar that tracks the sun in urban areas projects to mesh network EV batteries and use 1-5% for surge demand solar roof tiles etc.

@zdwade because your subsidising US oil through your state and federal taxes, it needs to be 30-40 dollars a barrel even with subsidies and Trump will be shifting billions to them in slush money + additional tax breaks to keep them afloat which is pointless the Saudis can ship it to the US at 10$ a barrel still make money then cut off your supply any time they like
