  1. The main problem with the US response is lack of federal leadership which has resulted in a spotty patch work of disparate responses. There's no guidance to how to open safely aside from a few vague guidelines which are discretionary and all of this will lead to a rolling death toll where your always on the back foot. The figures show a plateaus of between 2/3k deaths per day and that figure is going to remain pretty constant for the foreseeable future.
