  1. Bernie is a Liberal by all measures in most western countries he'd be bunched with moderates in the middle ex UK, the current UK labour party are way left of any position Bernie takes. With US politics being dominated by extreme right wing Republicans a centre candidate looks very left, Biden is a Conservative and would fit comfortably into right wing parties across Europe. Social safety net, minimum wage and UHC are staple policies of a civilised mixed economy, stripping these away or not enacting them turns you into a sweatshop economy
