  2.  @MCDONALD6969  because businesses need to pay for the infrastructure that supports them not sponge of workers. Tax breaks are just corporate welfare you know that thing your permanently bitching about some workers getting.

  3. No we don't we need to reform the tax system in doing so you will reduce the tax burden on the less well off and provide funds to repair our crumbling infrastructure. And the last thing we need is fantasy socialism, Populism on the left as well as the right left us with Brexit and a skip fire of an economy

  4. Tax breaks are corporate welfare, if a government hands them out they should have a positive economic multiplier which adds value to the economic pie. A positive example is giving a tax break to businesses for capital expenditure that improves business efficiency thus providing the treasury more tax further down the line. A negative example is a generic tax break that's used to pump up stock value adding nothing to future tax returns @MCDONALD6969
