It's shifting Labour because of high rental and remote working in London pushing out younger voters into the suburbs so it will become a safe Labour seat purely by demographics quote London's suburbs are being placed under a huge amount of strain as an increasing number of families move out of the capital. and High house prices and the rise of flexible working have resulted in a growing number of Londoners leaving the city for pastures new. New data shows record numbers of Londoners are buying homes elsewhere, with Surrey, Hertfordshire and Kent the most popular locations.

@dansplaining Starmer to me seems to be the ultimate pragmatist he has a centre left chancellor, a left Deputy, a centre left energy minister yet appears to be the model of centrism. The appointment of Sue Gray signals to me that instead of the endless Westminster talk he intends to get things done if he doesn't then Labour will suffer the same fate as the Tories will this time. That means they have to deliver on transport energy and housing

This is not like Abbot's seat at all the influx of labour voters is young middle class income people. quote 48 per cent of children in Hackney were living in poverty after housing costs. It is the fourth highest rate in a local authority area in the UK after Tower Hamlets, Newham and Barking & Dagenham
