  1. Starmr is talking about the 6 billion in subsidies to the Fossil fuel companie. I'd add that the reason non of the OIL/GAS companies have been paying tax has been to do with them being able to write off against tax cleanup costs in the North Sea which is estimated to be around 75 billion. Every time I get someone going on about renewable subsidies and net zero I get really angry the Fossil industry gets gobs of money in subsidies and tax breaks beyond your wildest dreams. Renewable energy has been the cheapest on the grid since 2019 yet we see yet another Fossil handout
