Comments by "Dale Crocker" (@dalecrocker3213) on "Nigel Farage RETURNING to Reform UK?! - 10 Tory MPs 'will move to Reform' if Farage comes back" video.
If Farage could overcome his aversion to Tommy Robinson Reform might stand a chance of picking up working class votes - the working classes in this country are virtually disenfranchised.

@andrewsmith78926 That's true enough, but with the stamp of approval to counteract his besmirched reputation Tommy could well be instrumental in persuading working class people who never vote - because they see no point - to go to the polls.

@bedandbreakfastman11 He is certainly very divisive - but a great performer when he's not too stoned. His talk to the Oxford Union long ago was a masterpiece of reason and logic. Right now he's the man many people have been conditioned to hate. Handled properly though he could turn that hatred into respect.

@johnkitching2248 ..and many don't vote at all.

@johnkitching2248 So they might vote for someone who they felt represented them.

@bedandbreakfastman11 I think the old "left wing/right wing" thing has had its day, quite frankly. What the working class needs is something that combines Thatcherite economics with a healthy disregard for cultural changes. The working class just want to be given the opportunity to either become middleclass, or to be at least given enough money to enjoy itself if not.

@johnkitching2248 I was being kind to you - and see where that got me! In fact "disenfranchised" has a secondary meaning, appropriate to this case. From Collins Dictionary: 1 "Not having the right to vote, or a similar right, or having had that right taken away" 2 "Having no power to make people listen to your opinion or to affect the society you live in." I think no 2 exactly matches the opinion of many working class people in this country.

@Michael-yy3fr Let's hope he does so now - though I doubt it. It could be political suicide. Look at poor, magnificent Andrew Bridgen.

@Bramblebush7 Maybe a bit of anger and thuggery is what mainstream politics needs....

@johnkitching2248 This is no time for semantic pedantry! You know what I meant!

@bedandbreakfastman11 It's the same for everybody.

@johnkitching2248 I'm not! Just check it for yourself. It's a straight copy and paste from the dictionary. I just cut the examples.

@brianwhite4672 I believe you. All the same...
