@steveb951 Building contacts with powerful Americans while interviewing them for British TV seems a good use of one's time to me. Better for the people of Clacton in the long run than sitting on the seafront in a tent like some fortune -teller waiting for people to drop by and complain about the state of the drains.

@brianconnelly-s5e Sure. He used them to get into Parliament. The deal is that he will now protect their interests. An MP is a representative, not some kind of community cheerleader.

@steveb951 You have a somewhat naive idea of what an MP is. He is not a delegate at some kind of perpetual conference. The people of Clacton have decided that Reform is the party best suited to the governance of the country and Farage's prime duty now is to try to ensure this comes about. He is in America to cover the Republican event on behalf of GB News. Like most MPs he has other sources of income, further emphasising that being an MP is not a matter of turning up at the office every day and bleating on about the state of the drains in your constituency, as you seem to think.
