  1. The government has shown weakness in not standing up to this cheap political trick. This obsession with "racism" is pathetic. I don't see how what was said was at all racist . Why are we forbidden to even mention black people except in tones of awed respect?

It is a blatant attempt to use some chance remark made five or so years ago to discredit the Tories and even to knock then back by £10million. It's pathetic that this pathetic government has fallen for it. They'd get more respect and more votes if they stood up for their guy.

  17.  @relaxedhigherself  I only asked because I used to be one when they were first invented. I think, in answer to your point, it wouldn't have been funny if he mentioned specs or politics. I was also around when satire was invented but people these days don't seem to grasp the concept. He's not mocking black people. He's mocking a current obsession which demands that all black people must be apologised to or even worshipped -when actually they are just like everyone else.
