Who bloody CARES!!??? It's the number of deaths and hospitalisations that count and these are going down, down, down. Why don't you share these figures with us?

@DFenV I like the WHO flashboard too! What pisses me off is the way the media insists on making us think this is getting worse when it's getting better.

But hospitals are empty. Most of these "cases" have few noticeable symptoms, if any. The death graph has been flat for three months. Either the virus has run out of potential victims or it has modified so that only milder strains survive (which makes evolutionary sense). As for Brazil - national demographics obviously make a huge difference. Brazil's death rate has remained fairly constant since May and is still horribly high. This must simply be because there is a larger pool of vulnerable people there. In African countries and South East Asian countries the number of deaths has been insignificant. Why?

@DFenV I couldn't agree more. I can't make my mind up if there is just plain stupidity behind this or something more sinister.Hopefully the former.

It is unknown territory, I agree - but best information so far is that it really is safe to get back in the water; certainly for pre-pubescent kids and very probably for most of the rest of us too. Best of luck with your mum. I'm sure you know what to do to keep her as safe as possible.
