@carollund8251 It wasn't a statement. It was a cruel and heartless joke of which I am utterly unashamed. Perhaps I should have said someone who thinks black people are all the same as each other and often doesn't know which town he's in.

@uintaj I don't know how to pronounce it. Why should I? I've only ever seen it written down. Trump should get a phonetic app of some sort. Problem solved How do pronounce uintaj by the way?

@carollund8251 I'm a bit older than Trump and a bit younger than Biden and I know what it's like to start a sentence and realise the word you had in mind at the beginning is no longer there at the end. Joe does seem a bit further down the prickly path than me though, I have to say. Trump's mangling of words comes from his unfamiliarity with them. Joe hits a barrier and then gets angry about it. I don't suppose it matters much though. He won't be running the country even if he does get in.

@carollund8251 Donny is no intellectual giant, it's true but he is a much maligned man. He expresses himself poorly but half the myths about him are just created by the MSM. The injecting bleach thing is a good example. If you watch the whole press conference you will realise that he was merely confused because the guy who spoke before, from Homeland Security I think, used the word "inject" several times in the sense that I might say I am trying to inject a little rationality into this debate. This confused poor Trump, who like millions of others associates the word with sticking a needle in your arm. Same goes for "disinfect". The guy was using military terminology in the sense that soldiers say they "disinfect" a building occupied by the enemy. There are many other examples of Trump being made to look more foolish than he is by clever editing. It's a shame that the political debate should have been reduced to deciding which of the two candidates is the dottiest, but there it is. At least Trump is his own man, not a front man. This is unusual in US Presidents which is why this nonsense about him being beholden to Putin in some way is put about. As for Joe - well who knows who's pulling his strings?

@carollund8251 Well obviously you are not a fan, but did you not see the Homeland Security guy injecting "injecting" and "disinfectant " into the briefing and Trump's look of puzzlement and consequent blundering attempts at elucidation? I agree he made an utter mess of the Axios interview. All politicians lie and Trump is usually quite good at it, but he was wrongfooted several times there.

J Kyro He's one of the most competent ever. The trouble is, he hasn't had to climb up the greasy pole and he has no political debts to pay off. That's why the establishment fears him and why they go to so much trouble to brainwash fools into believing untruths about him.
