Heard of tactical nukes?
1
@chaoscorsair So far.
1
@chaoscorsair So far.
1
@braggski No it isn't. Do you really think America would risk Armageddon if Russia was to nuke a small specific target in Ukraine?
1
@braggski So what?
1
@pierrehamel4424 Alright Mr Picky! But you have to admit that in common parlance "America" is synonymous with the good ole US of A.
1
@braggski I tend to doubt it. The US and NATO will chicken out rather than risk obliteration.
1
@KaiHouston-m6j Tactical nukes are smaller and designed for battlefield use, as opposed to strategic nukes which are designed to hit large targets from a great distance. There's a huge difference.
1
@KaiHouston-m6j Then NATO doctrine in this regard is wrong, as it is in many other cases. Can you cope with the idea that Ukraine is not in NATO, by the way?
1
@KaiHouston-m6j Lack of courage? Is it not utterly cowardly to believe unquestioningly the crap which is being forced down your throat by the media and politicians?
1
@KaiHouston-m6j Where does lack of courage come into it? If, say, Putin uses a tactical nuke to wipe out an airfield full of F16s and kills several thousand enemies in the process, what is brave about nuking a Russian city in response and risking Armageddon? That wouldn't be brave, it would just be plain foolish.
1
If it comes to a nuclear standoff, who do you think will blink? Clue: it won't be Russia.
1
Been there lately, have you?
1
@gordonho3828 No. but I have friends there who send me reports. A couple have their own YouTube channels too. Try Sam's Russian Adventures.

@kentalanlee What decline?
1
@JanMorsø Eastern Ukraine is sitting on around $13trillion of gas, coal, oil and rare earth minerals. The mining industry there has been going for well over 200 years. It was developed by Russia with Russian money and using Russian labour. The area was only incorporated into the Soviet Socialist Republic of Ukraine as a matter of administrative convenience. Even after Ukraine became a country in the early 1990's these resources continued to be used to benefit Russia, as well as Ukraine. The greed comes into it when Western, mainly American, entities set their sights on syphoning this wealth away from Russia into their own pockets. They have financed a war in which tens of thousands have died in order to do so. They have failed but profits from arms sales will help to soften the blow. For more than ten years Russia has sought to find a peaceful solution, with granting the area autonomy and thus able to continue its relationship with Russia becoming the aim. This was denied and instead the West has financed a Ukrainian army to pursue its commercial interests. You do not occupy the moral high ground.
1
@kentalanlee So this decline is the result of America's proxy war in Ukraine, is it? You should be proud.
1
@kentalanlee So this decline is the result of the US proxy war is it? You should be proud.
1
@patverum9051 Nonsense. You just have a psychological need to believe such things in order to justify the hatred for Russia which has been inculcated into you.
1
@joebloggs1756 This certainly doesn't fit in with the experience of those I know who have been there and who live there. It's a big country and some rural areas may be primitive by other standards. Certainly corruption is rife, but this is just a way of doing things which is inherent in many countries - in the US it is done more subtly that is all. I think you have a deeply ingrained psychological need to believe these things because your government needs you to hate and despise Russia because Russia has been allocated the role of "enemy" in a culture and an economy which needs a permanent enemy for its inhabitants to focus upon in order to survive.
1
@dwanemarsh4378 So this decline is the result of the war in Ukraine, right? A war which was forced upon Russia by the West?
1
@dwanemarsh4378 So this decline is the result of a war which Russia was forced into, right? It is the result of standing up against US imperialism and refusing to become yet another American poodle?
1
@patverum9051 You have to believe this in order to feel justified and safe, that's all.
1
@w.reidripley1968 Do you not see that the very fact that you believe me to be some sort of paid agent of Russia totally undermines whatever limited credibility you have as an undereducated American?
1
@w.reidripley1968 What forty-five roubles? The fact that you believe me to be some sort of paid Russian agent reveals how utterly misguided you are.
