  2. @@FlowerPower441 By the West I mean America and its subservient allies, I suppose. And I am not Russian but English. The West is responsible for the current tragedy in Ukraine because it has interfered in what is basically a quarrel over mineral rights and cultural appropriation. Without this interference Ukraine and Russia could have sorted out their differences easily enough. Instead, Washington warmongers saw what they thought was an opportunity to humiliate Russia and make a huge financial profit in doing so. They miscalculated badly - or simply didn't care - and as a result more than half a million people have died to no real purpose.
