  2. I suppose everyone by now must realise that this fake news has been thoroughly debunked. It often gets very hot in Greenland for a couple of weeks in the short summer and the top inch or two of the ice melts as a result. All this photograph proves is the insane need of climate alarmists to find actual evidence for their computer-generated fantasies - and the eagerness with which equally hysterical journalists seize upon this egregious nonsense.

  3. More gobbledegook and doublespeak! Global warming is only now global? In the bad old days before we clever scientists were around the earth only warmed in PATCHES? There is no empirical evidence that human activity contributes to climate change to any measurable degree. It was warmer in Europe -and probably the world over - between 1000AD and 1300AD when the Vikings farmed Greenland and the River Rhine dried up from time to time. Proxy data makes this clear, as I am sure this young man and his colleagues are aware. Notice they are now saying that human activity merely "speeds up" global warming rather than causes it. It's probably going to get a bit hotter over the next few years before, as various intensely powerful cosmic forces come into play, it will - quite suddenly - become very, very cold indeed. In the meantime the worldwide conspiracy of hedge-fund managers who have succeeded in creating a market for carbon emission permissions are laughing all the way to the bank. The whole scam is so bloody clever that one can almost admire their skill and cunning.

  5. Er.. the early days of the aids crisis were followed by the aids crisis. The early broadcasts of the 'global catastrophe' happened thirty years ago and -guess what? - no crisis! Nor will there be. This guy is just massaging data to enable him to keep his grant money. Although there are obvious fluctuations in ice levels at both poles, none of the present levels are in any way unusual. So called 'climate scientists' in 1922 and 1939 were bleating on in much the same way.
