Belegrod is a nothing nonsense. Russia can now soak up anything Ukraine throws at it. Idiots will shout and cheer should they retire back to their new trenches , but Putin wouldn't give a damn as long as more and more Ukrainians are killed and more and more of their Western-donated weaponry is destroyed. The utter destruction of Ukraine's military capability is the objective. Once that is achieved Russia can set about getting what it really wants - which will probably be a good deal less than we have been led to believe.
