  1. This is all so predictable. The support for Ukraine has been a commercial decision, based on the prospect of the West getting hold of the $14trillion of oil, gas a minerals under the ground in Eastern Ukraine and which has been historically mined and exploited by Russian investment and labour. It isn't working out and, inevitably as costs outweigh the chances of profit, the West will cease its investment and stop throwing good money after bad. You could see this happening months ago.

  2. The only obligations the US and the UK have is to get their hands on the $14trillion of gas,, oil and rare earth minerals lying under the ground in Eastern Ukraine. Everything else is pure flannel.
