  2.  @pidibli  Donbass is now Russian - or most of it anyway. Before that it was two independent republics under constant bombardment by Ukraine. By your definition the Russian invasion was defensive, as it was designed to prevent a major attack on the independent republics.

  3. Of course he's going to accept a ceasefire deal - on condition that Ukraine gets out of Kursk and concedes the 30% or so of Donetsk they still control.
