@porecemusnox8805 I see my original reply has been deleted by YouTube's new woke/fascist algorithm. May I refer you to a simpler version supplied to @anniejuan1817 elsewhere in this thread.
1
@porecemusnox8805 Among other things, yes. I might also qualify my statement to say that anyone who has been living under a stone for the last six or seven years might just qualify.
1
@porecemusnox8805 I have not read the indictment, nor do I need to. I have glanced at it, and it is clearly a farrago of nit-picking lawyerspeak, designed to obfuscate rather than to inform. I repeat: this case is not being brought because wrongdoing has come to light. It is being brought because alleged wrongdoing has finally been uncovered via a sustained campaign of vilification directed against one man by a corrupt state, fearful of losing an ill-gained power and authority. This undoubted fact undermines any procedures which may be in place to ensure fairness in judicial proceedings. When a game is being played with loaded dice, the rules of that game become fairly irrelevant.
1
@porecemusnox8805 It's not a question of either liking it or disliking it. It's a question of whether or not such an idealistic attitude is either practical or indeed desirable. In this instance I would suggest that it is not.
1
@porecemusnox8805 You're right about one thing - democracy is very much on trial here. It is not the be all and end all way of running a society that people think. It is very susceptible to being manipulated for purposes other than equable governance, and that is what is happening here.
1
@anniejuan1817 I don't know that it is.
1
@anniejuan1817 It's pretty much a waste of time wherever it takes place. If found guilty, Trump will have many reasons for appeal, and that procedure could take literally years. The only question is how much effect this farrago will have on the results of the election. Not much, in my view. The people who instigated this mockery of justice have the clout to ensure that their guy wins, by whatever means necessary
1
Since all dem black folks is desertin' de Dems - they have to be replaced from somewhere.
1
@thisguyshorty3554 The one in Ukraine?
1
@MTx485 I don't even know what that means.
1
@randallmadison9910 But it is defeating Ukraine, despite the West providing billions of dollarsworth of munitions.
1
@TheBarser If it has nothing to do with the USA, why is the USA spending billions and billions of dollars on arming Ukraine?
1
@CarreraTrack Yup.
1
@CarreraTrack Yup
1
You can. It is.
1
But the "rule of law" in America has been irredeemably corrupted by its use as a political weapon against Trump. Whatever sins Trump may have committed as a private individual they pale into insignificance beside the crime committed by many public officials - from the top downwards.
1
@purplemist7 oops!
1
@jimmyjohns3261 You got the omicron variant, that's all. It's much milder.
1
I hope everyone is on the side of peace and justice. Sad to say, that means being on Russia's side.
1
@ Of course it does. Isn't this war crippling it?
1
Naaah.
1
@imperfectionist2575 Both cults though. Which is the point. And in fact the "admiration" for Fauci is far more cult-like than the support for Donald Trump. What is more I doubt very much that he deserves your admiration - unless you happen to have shares in pharmaceutical companies, that is.
1
@imperfectionist2575 Trump ran the country for four years without starting any new wars and made at least some attempt to rid the administration of the warmongering charlatans who have held the reins of power for so many decades. Fauci, unlike Trump, is a creature of the establishment and I think history will show that rather than being a saint, he is something of a whitened sepulchre.
1
@imperfectionist2575 Four years without starting any new wars counts for a lot. Draining the swap - or making a start on it counts for a lot. As for Dr Fauci I have a sneaking suspicion that he is something of a crocodile himself. America has a lousy reputation for its healthcare and for the gross profits made by its pharmaceutical industry. The sainted doctor has been at the helm throughout this period and his behaviour during the pandemic has ben questionable, to say the least. In the light of this I find the way he is worshipped pretty difficult to understand.
1
@imperfectionist2575 Dr Fauci is indeed without fault.- at least according to YouTube. Every slightest criticism I make of this sainted man is immediately deleted by them. Which makes me very suspicious. I dare not even attempt to list Donald Trump's several virtues, but four years without starting any new wars makes him an exceptional President, as well as the fact - most important of all - that he is not a career politician but just an ordinary Joe who is doing what many ordinary Joes would do had they been born to great wealth. And that's why Mr and Mrs Joe like him - and wear his nice red hats.
1
@imperfectionist2575 Alas the YouTube cult will not allow me to reply. I've had five goes so far. Sorry.
1
@imperfectionist2575 Criminals who don't do cover-ups well are not very good criminals. And there are some very, very good criminals in American politics. From my point of view I see war as the keynote of US foreign and economic policy. Trump's main virtue is that he does not see war as good business. Over and above that he is a very ordinary Joe who just happens to have been born into great wealth and has done with his life what a great many other ordinary Joes would have done in his position - right down to getting elected President. Now America has to choose between the Uniparty and MAGA. History demands it. Having said that, Biden is almost certain to win this election. The Uniparty and the criminals will see to it.
1
@imperfectionist2575 My latest reply also deleted by YouTube. Go figure.
1
Their votes will be collected en masse and added to the electronic votes kindly provided by voting machines, same as last time. Trump hasn't got a chance.
1
More desperate floundering by this channel. This gets funnier by the day.
1
@ No. I have a brain and the ability to discern and analyse. Unlike some.
1
@eleanorwittering3126 Calm down dear.
1
@melissa7041 Should I communicate with the spirit world, as you obviously do?
1
America is no longer a democracy - if it ever was. The faceless figures who really rule the country are laughing at you all.
1
Maybe he should have taken bribes from the Chinese and the Ukrainians while he was in office. It all adds up, don't it Joe?
1
@mile_high_topher No. Because they are Russian and the government in Kiev has let them down pretty badly.
1
@mile_high_topher This difference of opinion is what the war is all about, On the one hand you have 300 years of history, on the other a couple of signatures on a bit of paper.
1
@mile_high_topher It's not your fault you've been so brainwashed. Putin has no desire to re- establish the Russian Empire. He's in his 70s, he's got a crap army and he knows from personal experience how trying to rule foreign countries helps cause the collapse of a nation. This myth is necessary to the US and NATO because the US is a war-based economy which needs a permanent enemy, and has to give its more dim-witted citizens a hate figure and a fear-filled scenario in order to justify its constant warmongering.
1
@mile_high_topher This is a myth. Putin is in his seventies, has a crap army and know from personal experience that trying to rule foreign countries leads to the collapse of your own. Sadly though the US needs a permanent enemy and hate figure to sustain its war-based economy and needs people like your good self to believe such nonsense in order to justify its continued aggression and interference in the affairs of other nations.
1
@mile_high_topher The population of Crimea and the industrialised areas of Eastern Ukraine is substantially Russian. They were imported to work the mines and factories to replace the original Tatar inhabitants.
1
@mile_high_topher I think the people involved care quite a lot.
1
@mile_high_topher No. They are reasons. And it worth remembering that if Russia's proposals to end the difficulties had been accepted there would have been no war and thousands who are now dead would still be alive.
1
@mile_high_topher Greed is to blame. Russia could have stood by and allowed a vast fortune to to be taken away from it, and there would have been no war. Ukraine could have agreed to allow Donbass to become independent and there would have been no war. America could have given up hope of getting hold of the vast fortune and there would have been no war. All in all, of the three greeds I think America's is the most blameworthy.
1
@mile_high_topher He might want to in a dream world, or in the world of fantasy our leaders sell us in order to encourage war fever, but not in reality. He may be a tyrant and a dictator but he is far too sensible to embark on anything doomed to failure. You should read an essay he wrote just before the invasion. It is available on the Internet and makes his position very clear. It was written purely for internal consumption and is therefore not propaganda in any form. He says that the Ukrainian people and the Russian people are the same people, from the same stock, but if the Ukrainians want to turn to the West and split the family then, as sad as this is, it must be allowed. But they cannot take the family silver with them - or in this case the $14 trillion of mineral wealth lying beneath the soil of Eastern Ukraine.
1
@mile_high_topher Putin has no such desire. He is far too sensible to embark on a course which would be doomed to failure, and he said as much in many essays, articles and interviews. What you have to realise is that constantly representing this as a threat the West's war machine stoke war fever and justifies its existence.
1
@naomineal1785 Biden is incompetent.
1
@sublime7617 Pick a couple of examples.
1
@sublime7617 I think you may have won! It was only reported that he said it but it sounds like him.
1
@harold9394 As far as I can tell a "lie" to the Left is just something they disagree with.
1
@bmullin96 Good for you.
