@StewFairweather Absurd. The British delegates have no say in Oman's internal affairs and humans rights abuses can be directly traced to the strict application of Shariah law. Nothing whatsoever to do with the oil trade. And what interest are there to declare? Our team get fed and watered exactly as would if visiting any other country. Do you expect them to take sandwiches and a Thermos? And the reason why it doesn't get talked about in the media is because it isn't very interesting.

@Galactorate But it's not secretive and it does not control Oman! Don't you get that? Oman is a strict Muslim hereditary monarchy which has a good relationship with Britain based exclusively on oil trade infrastructure. The fact that have slaves and cut people's heads off from time to time is a pretty clear indication that Britain does NOT meddle in Oman's internal affairs.

@nyakwarObat I've never been entirely sure what the Kardashians are and I happen to have read a great deal of history. Britain's relationship with Oman has developed in a mutually beneficial way, and imposing a Marxist filter on it does nothing to alter that fact.
