  4. @Don Doodat "Cognitive dissonance"? You forgot the Dunning-Kruger Effect. Instead of trying to be smart, just take a moment to ask yourself who benefits from this war. Putin certainly doesn't, much less the people of Ukraine. The beneficiaries are that "cabal of warmongers" in Washington who have engineered the whole scenario from the start. By supporting Zelensky you are supporting them and the Ukrainian oligarchs who pull his strings. This is a war between villains, not some kind of battle between good and evil. The swiftest and most rational way to end it is to grant the more modest of these villains his not unreasonable demands.
