This is a bizarre view of history. Until Zionists began arriving in the latter part of the 19th century the entire region was a desert occupied by wandering tribesmen with herds of goats. The population was tiny. Jews created a well-watered, productive nation out of this desert and Arabs flooded in from Syria, Jordan and elsewhere to take advantage of these initiatives. To say that the Israelis "occupied" land belonging to Arabs is an utter travesty.

@luisbustamante9869 But this is the plain truth of the matter. Today's "Palestinians" only have to look back two or three generations to find they originated in Syria, Iraq or Jordan. Palestine is not a country. It is some arbitrary lines drawn on a map by the British after the Great War and given a name dimly recollected from an English public school Latin education.
