@ADifferentBias And pharmaceutical companies don't pay money to people to push their dubious wares?

@JourneyLT Ashkenazi Jews have a distinct genetic profile.

But many of his fears are very well-founded. The profit-making health and food-processing industry needs attacking on every level. He may sometimes make mistakes but if there are direct links between the increase in autism, drops in IQ levels and increases in heart conditions and cancers as a result of medical procedures and food additives, then we really ought to know about it. And no-one else in authority seems likely to defy the big bucks that big pharma throws at any form of criticism.
1
@ADifferentBias As opposed to people taking money for pushing the claims of pharmaceutical companies? And what is a conspiracy theory anyway? Kennedy said that the covid vaccines didn't prevent transmission when we were all told they did. And they don't. He said certain red dyes cause cancer - now they are banned. He said fluoride lowers IQ. Now a meta study of 74 studies from all over the world has clearly indicated lower IQ levels in children with high fluoride levels. He's getting more right than he's getting wrong.

@samfetter2968 Red dyes causing cancer, covid vaccines not preventing transmission and now meta study of 74 studies has found correlations between lower IQs and fluoride levels in children.
1
@paulanaylor3548 This may well be true. But it is foolish to dismiss other possibilities. Cost/benefit analyses of medical procedures simply aren't being carried out objectively.
1
@samfetter2968 Certain red dyes causing cancer. They are now banned. Several others which YouTube won't let me detail.

@samfetter2968 You might try accessing "Fluoride Exposure and Children’s IQ Scores: A Systematic Review and Meta-Analysis". It was published in JAMA Pediatrics on January 6, 2025

@Nonexistent_Hero It was a food additive. Concerns about medical procedures have not been so readily addressed. There are issues in the public domain which YouTube will not allow to be discussed, but if you think the medical establishment and pharmaceutical companies don't put profit very high on their list of priorities then you are living in cloud-cuckoo land.
1
@Nonexistent_Hero You are being far too trusting. Have you looked at death rates in younger age groups lately? Are you aware of a meta-study published by Jama Pediatrics earlier this month? Have you read Bad Pharma by Ben Goldacre? Tinfoil hat or not I think we have the right to be concerned by the hold the profit-motivated pharmaceutical industry has over healthcare.
1
@ You are far too trusting. Read Bad Pharma by Ben Goldacre for a start. And there is plenty of other evidence out there suggesting that some medications are not as safe as claimed, as well as historically-proven cases.
1
@ You are far too trusting. I prefer my tinfoil hat to living in cloud-cuckoo land.

@ Ever read Bad Pharma by Ben Goodacre?

@Nonexistent_Hero AdderalXR, Alatrofoxacin, Opren, Rofecoxib, Tamflu, Paroxertine, Avandia......

@samfetter2968 He is right as much as he wrong, but Big Pharma has such a hold over the media that it is very hard to access studies which indicate this.
1
@samfetter2968 I have to break my reply into sections in order to attempt to bypass YouTube's censorship algorithm, which is loaded heavily against any criticism of the health industry. I also have to choose my words carefully. A study released earlier this month, for instance, by a reputable organisation and assessing the results of 74 international studies indicates that Kennedy's concerns about a particular form of preventative treatment have a strong basis in fact.
1
@samfetter2968 JAMA Pediatrics.
1
@samfetter2968 Autism.
1
@samfetter2968 Fluoride.
1
@samfetter2968 I have list of medications withdrawn in recent years because of serious side-effects. YouTube will not even allow me to give you that list.
1
@samfetter2968 I didn't claim that. The dyes thing is a distraction because it is one of the few things he has been right about which Big Pharma allows to be publicised, Let me make my position clear. I am not holding up Kennedy as some kind of saviour, but the fact remains that the health industry's thirst for profit has got out of hand to such an extent that safety concerns are often being bypassed, and Kennedy is one of the few people with the political clout and courage to stand up to this.
1
@ I didn't. The dyes thing is a distraction anyway. The more important issues are blocked by media outlets. Around six or seven of my attempts to reply to you with actual facts have been deleted by YouTube's censorship algorithm for instance.

@samfetter2968 JAMA Pediatrics.

@ I have a key word: JAMA

He has a permanent throat condition. And he can be as coherent as anyone.
1
@ You have been given one extract only. Try looking at the whole thing, if you can bear it. He holds up well, considering the pressure he's under.
1
@ Much of what he says makes complete sense and his case is a sound one that needs to be answered. The health industry is run for profit, and blind eyes are turned to its failings.
1
@harmless6813 Given he has a permanent condition which affects his vocal cords he does a very good job. A transcript of his evidence shows him to be at least as coherent as many Americans.
