I know. Lets all hold candles and sing happy clappy songs while the police ignore our children being raped and murdered.

Does that include the police discriminating in favour of Muslims?
6
It doesn't exist any longer.
5
The EDL no longer exists.

@TheHalfEmptyGlass Where is it irrelevant? People can just accept that their way of life is threatened and that the police won't do anything about it, or they can protest. This riot was against the police. This riot was against acceptance.

You really hate GB News, don't you?
3
Isn't that just a teeny, teeny bit fascist?
2
@beecee2205 It isn't necessarily about what the grievers want. Their tragic, tragic loss does not automatically give them the right to control the narrative, In any case, you do not know any more than I do how the families of the dead children feel - I daresay there is quite a wide spread of feeling, in fact.
2
@beecee2205 Not my bag. But I can fully sympathise.
2
@carysparkes Another glib and essentially meaningless phrase.
2
@EWAScotland I am actually a target of a certain quasi-religious fanatical cult which I have deeply offended in the past. That is the only reason I prefer a degree of anonymity. I'm sure the police can contact me if they feel I have committed any offence. Actually though, I don't care if I have.
2
@davidgardiner4720 Far right of what?
2
@welcometobrainfreeze I heard they arrived in flying saucers.
2
Can I polish your jackboots for you?

This is a class struggle. It is the ordinary working class versus the ruling class. The contention that working class people are incapable of holding views and taking action without some form of tuition is an insult. There is no "far right". There are only right-thinking people who are sick and tired of being bullied and patronised.
1
@sovietspaceship The price of revolution.
1
@martinepstein3332 There is no "extreme group" there is no-one seeking political advantage. There are just a load of fed-up people, some of whom rather enjoy getting rough.
1
@vooveks I think it is merely a convenient form of classification rather than a proud boast. People wouldn't think of themselves as being " far right" unless the far left was telling them that is what they are.
1
@russellbradley454 No. They won an election.
1
@russellbradley454 Not exactly getting value for money, are we?
1
@vooveks Careful. Your class prejudice is showing.
1
@vooveks Emotions and facts aren't necessarily contradictory. Some facts can make people very emotional.
1
@martinepstein3332 Sadly, revolutions tend to take little account of private property. Not that I condone this, of course.
1
@fredplat467 Thankyou for your profound insight.
1
@vooveks The word "thicko" is a pejorative commonly used by middle class people to describe working class people.
1
@fredplat467 Now you are developing your theme like a true philosopher.
1
@vooveks We don't. The kid is obviously deranged, but whether of not there is a religious aspect to his derangement remains to be seen.
1
@vooveks Does Jacob drag his knuckles too? We don't know very much about the attacker at all - which is the problem. Assuming him to be Muslim might be just that, but if he isn't the police should come out and say so, don't you think?
1
@vooveks You know you slipped. You know you did.
1
@vooveks Now don't take on so! I'm sure you're better than this.
