Jihad?
3
@Pikaling3408 I agree. But Jihad doesn't rely solely on violence. It has far more insidious ways of promoting Islamic dominance, such as the gradual takeover of institutions ranging from education to the police - and including ,it would appear, the governance of the city you are so proud to inhabit.
3
@billpugh58 No comparison. The "far right" hardly exists and if you refer merely to patriotic Brits fearful of a Muslim takeover then they, at least, do not espouse a religion which enjoins the murder of those who disagree with it.
3
Because Islam isn't a race?
3
@peterebel7899 There's something of a difference between xenophobia and a rational fear of people who want to utterly alter your way of life and to kill you if you decline the offer.

I don't think the Islamists would have him

Since Islam is not a race, Anderson cannot be accused of racism. Perhaps, like me, he believes that anyone who puts the interests of Islam before the interests of the country can justly be accused of treason, and be treated as such.
1
@Pikaling3408 Unfortunately, unlike the other religions you mention, Islam is committed to world domination and the destruction of all other beliefs. It SHOULD therefore be discriminated against for this very reason.
1
@sinclair Is it bigotry to be concerned about a religion which has the destruction or enslavement of anyone who rejects that religion as a tenet of faith? Instead of reading flawed legislation you'd do better to read the Koran.
1
@stephjsinclair Only about half a billion of them, I would imagine. Whatever the percentage the remainder seem sufficiently cowed and fearful to turn a blind eye to the excesses of the others.
1
The trouble is that Jews aren't frightening - but Islamists are.
1
@Pikaling3408 Mine too. Unfortunately ordinary, decent peace-loving Muslims are faced with an increasing dilemma: whether to hold fast to the moral standards of the enlightened West or to surrender to the Medieval horrorshow of fundamentalism Islam.
1
@stephjsinclair I wouldn't disagree with you there. There are even some loony Christian fundamentalists. The difference though is that there are far more adherents of the Religion of Peace who subscribe to extremism than there are in other faiths. The Enlightenment seems to have passed them by. Even quite ordinary, decent Muslims often seem stuck in the mire.

@carlpeberdy9086 Everywhere.
1
@billpugh58 Compared with Muslims the so-called "far Right" are models of open-minded liberalism. They don't actual want to kill anyone who disagrees with them and nor do they believe that they will go to Paradise and have sex with virgins if they do so.
1
@billpugh58 Not at all, In any case the so-called "far right" are pussycats compared with extreme Muslim fundamentalists who actually want to kill you if you disagree with their nonsense.
1
@carlpeberdy9086 Obviously you don't live in Luton or Rochdale - to name but two.
1
@ffotograffydd That is utter nonsense. Our deep state mind manipulators are playing with us.
1
@ffotograffydd They lied.
1
@ffotograffydd There is just no evidence for it. All the deep state could come up with was a few Welshmen with swastikas embroidered on their cushions. It's a con.
1
Because Islam isn't a race. It's just a rather terrifying religion.
1
@peterebel7899 Don't be so silly. Fortunately I have not personally been the victim of Islamic terrorism but thousands have, as I'm sure you must be aware.

1
@peterebel7899 Islamic terrorism is real.
1
@michealridgway7607 Islamic fundamentalists of course.
1
@michealridgway7607 Not at all. But Muslims are caught between two stools. The radicals have a considerable hold over them, yet many would, I think, prefer to forget all about jihad and the caliphate and just get on with their lives.
