If the working class need a leader from a truly working-class background a certain Stephen Yaxley-Lennon comes immediately to mind

@weswheel4834 No. To avoid police persecution. "Tommy Robinson" is a modern version of Robin Hood.

@johnpirie4804 Yup. That's what you call REAL working class!

@mayamelagia He's doing what any normal working class guy would do if he came into a bob or two. He's one of us.
2
@mayamelagia What grifting are you talking about? The guy gives his all for a cause which truly reflects the opinions and aspirations of very many patriotic British people - and gets persecuted for it. Why can't he have a holiday? I mean, he's not up to Starmer standards on freebies, is he?

What a very, very middle class remark!

@weswheel4834 People ARE the problem. The ruling class are the problem. The media are the problem. You probably are too.

@JesusHChrist-q9d Broken home. Stepfather a factory worker.. Mother works in bakery to make ends meet. Brought up in a council house? No, Starmer is more lower middle class - and not that low either. His famous dad was the boss of a small toolmaking workshop.

@JesusHChrist-q9d I didn't realise it WAS a joke! Sorry!

@weswheel4834 There was a time when very many Luton supporters called themselves Tommy Robinson. Stephen Yaxley (who is working class) took up the name as a nom de guerre when first becoming politically active - largely in defence of his class and his country's values.
