  1. Violence by the "right-wing thugs|" was absolutely minimal and directed solely against the police by a handful of adrenalin freaks. In fact the police did make an error by herding the crowd down a narrow passage and which some hotheads thought was a prelude to a kettling exercise. Personally I was far more angered by the sight of thousands of foreigners, aided and abetted by muddle-headed left-wing loonies, filling the streets of our capital with a horrifying display which combined political and historical ignorance with the worst kind of rabid religious fervour. `
