Who's this "we" then? You and your mates down the pub?

It's hardly insider trading if everyone knows about it, is it?

@gilescrawford845 Well, me and my mates are just laughing at you! Trump's approval rating has just shot up following his Middle East trip , by the way. You really shouldn't claim to be be speaking for any other than the TDS sufferers who haunt this channel.

@annerigby4400 No. "We " - in your terms - are the people who agree with you. And that is far from everybody. It is - probably- just some of the credulous and semi-educated middles classes of the Western world.
1
@thesmallerhalf1968 Yes, Trump's approval ratings have seen a boost following his Middle East trip. According to a Daily Mail poll, his approval rating rebounded to 50%, up from 45% two weeks ago, with analysts also attributing the rise to successful trade deals and tariff negotiations. Another Insider Advantage poll recorded an even higher jump, showing his approval at 55%, marking an 11-point surge since early May. Personally I don't have much faith in polls - but there we are. As for your predictions, Trump's behaviour is so original that I don't see how anyone can say with any confidence what its eventual outcome will be.

@timcastle1844 I am. And it's less pathetic than having your brain fried by propaganda.
1
@longi625 Well, I'm laughing with him!
1
@UdumbaraMusic But Trump advertises his actions BEFORE he takes them, surely?
1
@takenoprisoners-u3x Could this be possible? Who is telling him?
1
But anyone can buy the cheap stock, can't they?
1
@UdumbaraMusic Do you really think that stock-market manipulation for personal profit is at the root of Trump's behaviour though? Do you not consider it likely that what he is trying to do is to basically re-structure the way markets operate so that financing value-added processes returns as the root of investment, rather than gambling on esoteric outcomes?
1
@UdumbaraMusic I admit it's got me puzzled! But the problems were there before and have certainly contributed greatly to America's need to borrow more and more and print more and more money. I think it possible - if not obviously likely - that Trump is somehow trying to break the system in order to rebuild it.
1
@UdumbaraMusic Could you possibly embellish your final paragraph? I'm not quite getting it. Without coming across too much as a Trump apologist (which I suppose I am, though) it strikes me that Trump uses the greed of others to make money for himself, and might well be using the greed of others to cushion America's inevitable collapse. What countries do you categorise as enemies of the USA? Making deals with Russia, for example, is going to be of enormous benefit to the world.

You are wrong about China. China was scared and there have been massive lay-offs and crashing profits. That's sort of the idea. The same with the EU. It just beats me how people can't seem to understand the game Trump is playing. It's entirely reasonable to believe his tactics aren't going to work, but it is utterly childish to allow yourselves to be so blinded by TDS that you believe the man is a fool who doesn't know what he's doing, or that abrupt reversals of policy are "climb-downs" or "defeats."

@emm_arr There is nothing silly about this opinion. What is remarkable is how so many people confuse the apparent confirmation of their prejudices with reasoned thought.
1
@emm_arr My opinions are neither silly nor are they feigned. I suspect that you suffer from some basic character deficiency which cannot cope with the notion that you could be wrong.
