If one assumes that Putin wins quickly and negotiates a modest peace, leaving Ukraine to is own devices on condition that it grants Donbass autonomy and agrees not to join NATO, then things should slip back into sync quite rapidly. Phil has a wonderful knack of manipulating every situation into an anti-Johnson, anti-Brexit format. I really do think he has an excellent political career ahead of him, if he so chooses.
