The simple fact of the matter is that this situation is entirely the result of increased population; which is to say an increase in population far over and above that envisaged when Britain's sewage system was last seriously analysed back in the early 1990's. That unexpected and unplanned for increase in population has come about as a direct result of immigration. There is nothing racist in saying this. It is just the way it is. A state of the art Victorian sewage system, a masterpiece of engineering in its own way, cannot cope with the demands placed upon it by around 17,000 times the number of bottoms on bogs it was originally designed to accommodate.
