I think the hope is that in the time it might take for this movement to have an actual effect and force an election the Right will somehow manage to form itself into a coherent body which can take Labour on and beat it. That's my hope, anyway. (All former Labour supporter welcome.)

@Noel-ji8nm No way. If by the Left you mean old school, Marxist-based socialism as typified by the likes of Corbyn then what little traction it may have had has long petered out.

Labour only got in because the Tories were so bad. But the Starmer government is quite mind-boggling incompetent and even dangerous. It is quite clear to me that it is little more than the paid creature of foreign entities, notably globalists and and asset management companies. Every single one of the policies it has introduced, or plans to introduce, points to this. I feel immensely sorry for all you good-hearted Labour supporters who have allowed this cancer to enter into the body politic.

@MIEJ4 I think the evidence speaks for itself. Government faculties are being passed over to private enterprise, mass immigration is being encouraged, money is being diverted into supporting Ukraine while pensioners are being deprived of benefits, the countryside is in danger of being overwhelmed by cheap housing to cater for the young immigrants who will replace our ageing population; Islam, which uses the fear of death to encourage compliance with authority, is being supported as a potential state religion and free speech is being quashed. Our Prime Minister is hand in glove with the asset management companies which dictate policy worldwide and the farming industry is being taxed out of existence. This is a revolution. This is not what we voted for. This is not Socialism. This is something new and terrifying.
1
@MIEJ4 All evidence points to its truth. You've been conned. You thought you were getting Socialism. You're getting asset-company financed globalism.
1
@MIEJ4 All evidence points otherwise. You thought you were voting for decent Socialist values. What you got was globalist fascism, run by profiteering asset-management companies which can buy their way into anything.
1
@MIEJ4 The evidence points otherwise. Whatever you've ended up with you can't call it Socialism. It is something far more sinister.

@MIEJ4 What's my lot? Aren't you a tiny bit suspicious that Starmer has taken money from a prominent hedge fund manager and had dinner with the CEO of Blackrock where he has welcomed the prospect of Britain joining with a multi-trillion firm of asset managers? Does it not concern you that the elderly and the vulnerable are being neglected in favour of thousand upon thousand of healthy, young male immigrants? That British farming is under threat and that there are plans to cover fields with cheap housing? Who for? Have you heard of replacement theory? Does it no worry you that our lives are being put at risk by supplying missiles to Ukraine in whose victory asset management companies have a profound financial interest? This has nothing to do with socialism or the well-being of the British working class. It is globalism, raw and terrifying.
1
@MIEJ4 Erosion of free speech, cuddling up to asset management companies, sending missiles to Ukraine, undermining farming, neglect of the elderly, facilitating mass immigration, promotion of the religion of Islam....... All useful routes to the creation of a new world order where a subservient population provides for a mega-rich elite.

@MIEJ4 It is rather difficult to share the evidence since YouTube's globalist/fascist algorithm bot is in on the conspiracy. Several of my replies have been deleted, but I might keep trying. It's great when you beat the thing.
1
@MIEJ4 I'd love to. But the YouTube algorithm is seemingly reluctant to allow me to do so. I will have to come up with a Cunning Plan.
1
@MIEJ4 My Cunning Plan was to get a friendly bot to rephrase one of my original replies in a language which the YouTube bot might allow. Here goes: "I'm concerned about several issues in the UK right now. For instance, Keir Starmer's interactions with financial entities like BlackRock raise questions about his commitment to working-class interests. Additionally, the elderly and vulnerable seem to be neglected in favor of young, healthy immigrants. British farming is under threat, and there are plans to use farmland for housing. This makes me wonder who these houses are for. The idea of 'replacement theory' also comes to mind. Furthermore, supplying missiles to Ukraine, where asset management companies have financial interests, seems risky. These issues don't align with socialism or the well-being of the British working class but rather with globalism."
