  1. Such nonsense. Many Conservatives are as genuinely concerned about the disastrous effects of net zero as they were about the slide into European federalism. To suggest the airing of these concerns is merely some sort of trickery in order for the evil Tories to frighten people into voting for them is either naive or -well, some sort of trickery designed to frighten people into NOT voting for them. The "climate crisis" is a scam. It is a very clever con trick designed to entirely alter the balance of world power. The world is warming very gradually entirely in accord with previous patterns. There is no reason to suppose that this change will result in disaster, or that increased carbon emissions will have any marked effect upon it. Renewable energy is both expensive and inefficient and to rely upon it wholly is an act of suicidal folly. The opposition to net zero now being voiced is a direct result of Johnson's extremely insecure position. He has angered a great many Conservatives by his espousal of "green" and other woke causes and he is being allowed to continue in office on the condition that he starts back-pedalling on them pretty damned quickly.
