  4. @ Honestly, dear heart, I am utterly gobsmacked how anyone with a claim to a brain can be taken in by any of this stuff. All it does is twist reality to conform with prejudices - and I notice an increasing tone of desperation creeping in too as the propagandists involved realise they have lost the game.

  5.  @davidnorthrop2298  It's what they say - not how they say it! (In fact I owe Packman and a couple of others a debt of gratitude. When I first took an interest in US politics I had swallowed the Orange Man Bad mantra and watched such channels. It took me a couple of weeks to realise that they were just spouting baseless propaganda and that I would behove me to examine the true position most carefully. I did so, and am now as fully MAGA as it is possible for an Englishman to be.)
