  1. The chances of reaching herd immunity do not increase with more vaccination. The vaccines would have to be 100% effective and long-lasting for that - and they are neither. It can be argued that vaccinating more than a certain percentage of the population is harmful because it reduces the number of people who become immune through infection - which is the only way out of this mess.
