Ronald Davison You are obviously up to speed. Have you yet heard about the research carried out by father and son team Michael and Ronan Connolly? They have used billions of items of data from weather balloons to discover a picture of the atmosphere very different to that propounded by climate alarmists. The research strongly suggests that it is actually composed of ideal gasses and is thermodynamically stable, as was proposed by Einstein in 1916 or thereabouts. The system adjusts to increased carbon input quite readily. The molecules retain heat for about one third of a second before re-emitting it in various directions. Like you I am a layman and have no way of understanding the technical details but the scientific papers are available on https:/oprj.net/ . What their findings boil down to basically is that there is absolutely no such thing in the real world as the greenhouse effect. If you have anyone on side with a good science degree it would be helpful for them to run over these papers and help translate them into lay terms. The Connollys, based in Dublin, Ireland, run a private institution outside the grant-dependent, publish-or-die academic ghetto and have had these papers on display as drafts on the site for a number of years.I gather that in association with Willie Soon they will shortly be publishing the full findings incorporating suggestions and criticisms acquired through this procedure. Should be interesting. Do forgive me if I'm telling you things you know already, but I was a bit shocked to learn that the "model" of the atmosphere that so-called climate science is based on, and upon which subsequent models continue to be based, was actually proposed by a Serbian scientist as long ago as 1942. The Connolly research apparently shows this model is wrong in several important respects and that matters have not been improved by enthusiastic technophiles trying shove it into the crap computers of the seventies and early eighties.

Ronald Davison Entirely so. I have no reputation to consider so I can be a little flamboyant, but obviously caution is required in others. I await developments with considerable interest.
