Think Again They either won't exist or they'll think what a bunch of twats you were for believing this rubbish..
2
teddy boef Everyone should have one. It should be compulsory. The chips should feature an app allocating your individual carbon footprint and if you exceed it at any time you will be punished with a severe jolt of pain. A desperate measure, and probably pointless, but these are desperate times.
2
teddy boef Everyone will have the option to buy extra carbon credits on the open market. If you've got the money you are safe. If you've got LOTS of money you can buy up credits when they are cheap and trade them when the market rises. If you've got LOTS and LOTS of money you can force the price up by inviting Greta Thuberg over or getting a TV company to make a film about the antarctic melting.
2
Leigh Foulkes Let me add further to your confusion. The elites are very much in favour of making everyone worried about climate change They make vast sums of money by trading in carbon emission certificates and derive further income from carbon taxes.
2
Otto Carnage We should bring back horses. We could use their shit to grow food in too.
2
acid rain Act your age.
1
Barquero Juan Carlos I find it very amusing to listen to people who have been heavily brainwashed complaining about brainwashing.
1
Leigh Foulkes Any idea where the money comes from that funds the far more massive and expensive propaganda campaigns that push the climate crisis agenda? Who's paying the wages of whoever taught you this crap, by the way?
1
Britain led the world in the abolition of slavery, banning he slave trade in 1807 and slavery itself in 1833. The government paid out millions to buy slaves from their owners and grant them their freedom. Johnson's book is a comedy. The twisting of history and a total lack of a sense of humour are two characteristics of the socialist mind-set which have helped virtually destroy the creed in the UK.
1
Why is that people opposing the climate crisis agenda seem to be working from their backrooms, or in small clearly underfunded groups, while climate crisis propaganda comes with expensive videos, CGI and often highly-paid professional front men? Where is all this fossil fuel money being spent? Using children t push a political agenda is disgraceful behaviour. Any steps taken to prevent it can only be applauded.
1
Braddon Schultze I hope you never get left any then. What would it say about the people who left it to you?
1
Braddon Schulze They keep the world going. You're just jealous you're not one. I expect you think they spend their money on caviare and cigars. They don't. They invest it in projects that provide goods and services people require. This creates more jobs and improves living conditions all round. There are plenty of billionaires further up your food chain sunshine, without whom you'd be starving in the gutter.
1
Braddon Schultze You want a revolution? With real blood? Reciprocal arrangements between employers and the employed are not slavery.
1
writercnsidered Have you visited the We Don't Have Time website? They are environmentalists who also have a neat way of making money.
1
Me and my friend Millie are going to tattoo the XR symbol on each others' foreheads. It will hurt but it will show we are not brainwashed by oligarchs and suchlike. Paint peels off, true comitment doesnt!
1
Max Doubt Climate scientists have built themselves a box, climbed in and shut the lid. You are being used and they are being used by very clever people who realise that fossil fuels are finite and are acting accordingly. There's more money to be made trading carbon bonds than there is digging coal and drilling for oil.
1
David Roberts It's TOO LATE! The carbon is ALREADY THERE waiting in great clouds to come down to destroy us.
1
This is a real test. If the economy booms, the NHS becomes more efficient and people do not ACTUALLY starve in the gutters then Labour will be finished. The only people supporting socialism in a modern context will be brainwashed students. Even if the gloomy predictions come true Labour will have great difficulty in rebuilding and rebranding itself in the time available. There is even a possibility that the Loyal Opposition will not come from the left but from the right. There are plenty of UKIP and Brexit Party supporters and others who think Boris is too soft on many issues, particularly Islamification. His endorsement of climate change legislation also does not sit well with the many people who sense some sort of scam is going on. Imagine Boris Johnson on one side of the dispatch box and Nigel Farage on the other! Stranger things have happened.
1
Tom Wylie Try living without fossil fuel energy. You're dead within a week.
1
Oligarchs HaveControl You will be relieved to learn that arctic ice is recovering this winter. Recent net losses of around 200 cubic kilometres a year seem unlikely to be matched this season. Since there are about 2,850,000 cubic kilometres of ice in the arctic it doesn't make a toss of difference either way. It is a little known fact that the tropics are hotter than equatorial regions, by the way. Any movement of population from either region will be purely economically based and have nothing to do with climate change.
1
Paul Gibby Follow it all the way to the carbon futures market where millions are made every day trading in permissions to exceed carbon allocations.
1
For some unimaginable reason you fail so mention the snow now falling in the arctic which will largely replace the ice loss. You also show pictures of glaciers calving. They are not melting, they are breaking up as the weight of snow forces them to flow forward into the sea. Weather in the arctic is cyclic and repeats itself, due largely to its position in relation to the sun and the flow of air and ocean currnts. Ice levels were considerably lower in the early 1920's than they are today. The climate crisis is a conspiracy to defraud. This report is part of that conspiracy.
1
Selwyn Rodda They think "Thank God I am part of an industry that has put clothes on these children's backs, food in their mouths and given them a decent home to live in - them along with millions of others across the world." Where do you get all this crap from? You have obviously been educated by delusional watermelon people. If you want to live without the energy provided by fossil fuels take your clothes off and go up a mountain and see how you get by.
1
Pura Vida dew You'd have to use oil to get them there though.
1
jack meoff Can you give us the location of this war room? Some of us are drawing up a list of targets to picket and possibly... well let's leave it there for now.
1
Sadly, greed beats envy as an economic driving force. All we can hope for is to impose restraints on capitalism, not to replace it.
1
Brian Brian The use of fossil fuels puts clothess on your back, bread in your mouth and provides the computer you are using. If you want to live without fossil fuels go naked into a desert and take it from there.
1
kurtilen Solar cycles and their implications are still far from fully understood I'm afraid. It is just another example of climate science conceit to say that they are.
