This farce has brought nothing but shame to the American judicial and political systems. The only good thing about it is that enough people have seen through the scheming and corruption to hopefully ensure Trump's re-election.

@TheBigStink9268 Far from it. I woke up around 2018 when I became suspicious of the barrage of abuse directed at this man and realised that those orchestrating the campaign were themselves utterly evil and corrupt. It can be quite hard to like Trump - but I've managed it.

@tigrrtom I share many of them, especially a fear and resentment of the Deep State - which is to say an unholy alliance between government officials, the secret services, corrupt politicians and amoral financiers which has destroyed democracy and threatens to make junkies or slaves of us all.

@RichardQuaid He is of his generation - as am I. In those days women were treated as sex objects as a matter of course. Us old guys are kinda ashamed of it now, but that's the way it was. There must be millions of men in their seventies and eighties who could be tried for retrospective sexual assault.
