  2.  @toms5996  International laws largely decided upon by the US after the end of World War II many of which have failed the test of time. Russia invaded Ukraine to prevent the US taking it over and using it as a nuclear missile base and having access to its mineral resources. America started this war in 2014 when it staged a coup to overthrow the government. The Russian invasion is merely a development in that war which has already cost thousands of lives.

  3.  @SomethingLegit1 Russia is fighting to defend itself from Western incursion. Ukraine is fighting because America told it to. There is no moral high ground here.

  6.  @newsreader8249  Yes. The entire strategy of NATO since the collapse of the Soviet Union has been to push Russia into a corner. Ukraine is a step too far.
