I wouldn't worry too much. Russia is a world leader in nuclear technology and exports both expertise and nuclear fuel all over the world. It knows what it's doing.

@makeracistsafraidagain No. It's entirely true. Just check it. Russian nuclear reactors are currently being built in 14 countries worldwide. Along with neighbouring Tajikistan it is the world's largest supplier of processed uranium.

@paulscountry456 Chernobyl exposed the idiocies of Soviet administration, not the failings of the Slavs. It was a major factor in the collapse of the USSR.

@justinwallace390 You really must stop believing your own publicity. The Russian economy is riding along with ease and the war has, in fact, accelerated a process of international re-alignment which will in all probability lead to the collapse of the dollar as the world's reserve currency. Russia has received scarcely a scratch, so it is Ukraine which will need rebuilding. America and Europe too will have to do some serious re-evaluation when they realised that Western hegemony has finally come to an end.

@bonnie7898 On the contrary, Putin has made it what it is. He is now defending it - and curiously enough his way of compensating for the inadequacies of the hidebound military has been to find an entrepreneurial oligarch to create a private army to do the job better!
