  1.  @janalucke9739  There is a rapidly emerging divide between American, dollar-dominated economies and the increasing BRICS community, however. If the new BRICS gold-based currency gets into full swing and challenges the petrodollar, and even the dollar itself, Western hegemony could be ended. It will eventually of course, but it could be sooner rather than later - especially if the Ukraine adventure misfires, as it already is in many respects.

  2. The question now is when is Russia going to stop? Where will its front line be? There will come a point when it occupies as much of the former "Little Russia" to the east of the Dnieper as seems possible. It will then surely dig in deep, behind strong permanent fortifications, and become the defending force, rather than the attacking one. There has never been a war quite like this one, certainly not in modern times. It would not be an exaggeration to suggest that the future shape of the world will depend upon its final outcome.
