  2.  @eardwulf785  You can check the exchange rate for yourself. As for talking bollocks, Russia now very rarely gets paid for its gas and oil in dollars, and only as a last resort. Almost anything else will do, but especially roubles.

  3.  @Occam31 I'm not a currency dealer, but the rouble is well worth a punt as an interim trade. If I was living in Russia of course it would be a different story. The fact that its economy is not only surviving but actually thriving in some areas - despite or even because of sanctions - simply underlines the increasing weakness of the dollar.
