@Tommy.Shenanigans But ANTIFA is a terrorist organisation. It seems to impose its will through violence and repression. And getting your team up to scratch is hardly sending people to the gulags, is it? You're going to have to do better than that.

@mcarpenter2917 Questioning them, certainly. But Jan 6 was a mere protest at what many people (including myself) appears to have been a concerted attempt to subvert the democratic process. If Trump had been a true autocrat he would have overturned the verdict by force, instead of merely allowing his supporters to demonstrate their outrage.

Although they may be more nervous of expressing their true opinions, Russians are probably more informed about the situation than most Americans. The level of ignorance in America about the background to this struggle is truly astonishing. But then many Americans are ignorant about a great many things - so perhaps it's not so astonishing after all.
